Vivo continues to expand its entry-level smartphone lineup, with recent reports indicating that the Chinese manufacturer is working on a new model, the Vivo Y59 5G.
Vivo Y59 5G Appears in IMEI Database
The Vivo Y59 5G, identified by model number V2443, has appeared in the IMEI database. While this development doesn’t confirm the phone’s specifications or release date, it suggests that users may not have to wait long.
The new smartphone is expected to succeed the Vivo Y58, introduced earlier this year. The Y58 featured a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.
The Vivo Y58 came with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus support for up to 1TB with a microSD card. It also housed a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
The Vivo Y59 5G’s specifications are not yet confirmed, but based on its predecessor, slight improvements are likely. According to reliable industry sources, it may launch early next year.
